You are not alone! After a lifetime of hearing mostly negative stories about creating and caring for children, it is not uncommon to have fears, doubts and concerns, and to have made unconscious limiting decisions and blocks to protect yourself.
Our busy modern lives can be stressful balancing acts of work, family and financial commitments with little time left for ourselves. No wonder so many women feel drained or anxious! No wonder 10% struggle to conceive, 15% of pregnant women reach the point of antenatal depression, and 40% of those continue on to post natal depression (Black Dog Institute).
You don't need to struggle on alone, feeling miserable. You've very likely invested enormous energy, time and money so far. You deserve to enjoy this very special journey, and in doing so, you & your unborn baby (not to forget your partner, family, friends and colleagues) benefit enormously. Research shows your baby feels your emotions, just as s/he absorbs what you eat, drink, smoke (Stoppard).
The calmer, more confident and relaxed you are, the more your baby thrives, the easier it is to work together during birth, and the deeper you'll bond after birth. Healthy contented mums generally have healthy contented babies, who eventually grow into healthy contented adults. Having a healthy contented baby is especially important if you plan to return to work sooner rather than later. Growing content works!
During the Growing Content Pre-birth program you'll be coached and assisted to identify and clear whatever fears and concerns are preventing you from really connecting with and thriving your baby now. This is even more important if you've conceived through IVF or other assisted fertility as your emotional resilience is very likely lower. You've worked hard to get this far, and you need to fill your own well before you can give to others.
We will work together using primarily NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Hypnosis and Results Coaching techniques. These techniques create fast, lasting changes deep at the unconscious level. You remain in control at all times and do not re-live any past negative or traumatic experiences as you are guided through the processes. You learn powerful pain control with self-hypnosis. Although there is a program structure, it is flexible and will be adapted to assist you deal with whatever your highest priority is at each session.
We will release whatever is holding you back from enjoying your life. You'll feel in control again, and able to give to and nurture your loved ones - including yourself. The bonus is the benefits flow on to all areas of your life, including your career or business.
Clients have reported feeling a sense of calm wholeness, and confidence in their ability to create fulfillment in all areas of their lives.
Parenthood becomes one aspect of, rather the whole reason for, living, and being with a partner. Relationships may flourish again once this burden has been lifted. The Emotion Detox Workshops are ideal for partners and birth support people so they can clear their 'stuff' and be fully present for you when you need them most. Alternatively they can choose to do their own individual sessions. Either option is highly beneficial for all concerned.
As part of a holistic mind-body-spirit approach, the desired end result is a whole, happy, healthy and balanced individual (you!), who creates ways of being effective, nurturing and loving in all aspects of her life, whether pregnant or not. (And yes, of course a deep bonding with your baby and an amazing birth for you both, but that is just the start of the relationship.)

"Hi Sue, Just to let you know that Ava was born on Saturday morning at 7.10am. Everything was absolutely wonderful – we labored quietly (in bed – on off asleep- was very gentle) from about 9.30pm Friday night, and then when I got out of bed at 5.30 things sped up unbelievably! Pool only just got filled, Midwife and Doula just made it, kids woke up in time to see their little sister born. It was actually just as I had hoped (and imagined) it would be – absolutely perfect in every way. I want to thank-you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to “clear the way” for a fabulous birth for us both."
With love,
